Summary of the Principle of the Original Seven

In many ancient Traditions the number 7 stands out amongst all the numbers 0 - 9 as the "holiest" or most special of all the numbers. Does it deserve this recognition? Mathematically 7 is also special because it is a perfect prime, indivisible by any other number but 7 itself. 7 is not in the Fibonaci sequence as a fundamental number of growth and creation, 8 is its closest number their. In the Mathematics of Spiritual Philosophy what could 7 represent, and why is it so highly regarded.

In previous posts I have been trying to describe a type of geometrical and numerological interpretation of creation, first starting with a Euclidean Point, or a Quantum Particle, which then somehow arises and extends into a line, through vibration.

In this article I want to explain that the whole explanation of creation that I am presenting is based solely on 7 principles. I am only deriving this explanation from 7 basic and very simple original principles. All of the seeming complexity can be derived from these basic Seven.

The original 7 are not seven planets, or seven god or archangels or anything like that. Although these all play heavily into the number 7 symbolism, like 7 heavens and 7 Earths, I beieve that those are all important later manifestations and creative expressions of the Holy number 7.

The original 7 principals are based on 4 thoughts and 3 Actions. As all existence arises from a single Point or Quantum Particle of perfectly still and eternal mind of no origin or dimension, then the 4 thoughts are primary thoughts that arise from this mind as points. It is possible that these four thoughts form 4 point like shells, or they are 4 entangled points at the very Heart and Origin of Creation. They also seem to arise in a specific sequence and work creatively with the three actions.

What are the 4 thoughts? In certain traditions you will find reference to four basic thoughts. Many may say that they are too elementary to be of much importance, and quickly overlook them. But, upon deeper investigation you can find that they indeed are the beginning of all traditions. Tibetan Buddhism begins with "4 Thoughts that Turn the Mind." This is a very thought provoking title as well.

The four thoughts can be described as the Buddhists describe them, or they can be described in a even more Universal sense, but they are fundamentally the same.

The Buddhists describe the Four Thoughts that Turn the Mind as:

  1. The Extreme Rarity of obtaining a Precious Human Birth, the difficulty of finding the freedoms and advantages.

  2. The Impermanence of Life.

  3. The defects of Samsara, the life of dualistic suffering.

  4. The Causes and Effects of Karma, our actions and their reactions.

In a more universal sense one may say that these same four thoughts can be described as:

  1. The Fundamental Problem of Existence, How can you obtain something from Nothing.

  2. Change is the only constant.

  3. The observation of Unity.

  4. Every Action has an Equal and Opposite Reaction.

I state that these 4 basic principles are enough to describe the existence of things. These 4 basic principles derive from primordial mind which is completely still and eternal. As such it is completely passive and receptive, which can be regarded as the Primordial Feminine. This unknown source of everything is beyond concept and knowing, and as such is scientifically only theoretical. This gets us right to the point, how does something, such as a point or a particle come to exist from nothing?

To answer even how a Point comes to exist we can see that even a point would exist through these principles, that there is Unity, Change, a Fundamental Existence that we can observe, and a reaction to every action.

I wonder if the 4 letters of the Hebrew Tetragramatron Yod-He_Vav-Heit could also correspond to these four basic principles. Likely they do.

The Fourth Principle, the Principle of Action is the Pure Male Principal that in itself Arises from the Still Eternal Passive Female. Another Mystery is how can some Action Arise from Total Stillness? Yet, we observe Action in our experience. So, every step of the way it is difficult for us to "Know" How or Why existence can come to be. We are constantly reminded of our limited mind and find the Fundamental Problem of Existence a Continual Problem. But, all the same we can observe a seeming existence around us, do we need a better explanation that what we can perceive with our own senses and mind? We can think of creation as a Fundamental Creation of the Whole Universe, or we can think of creation as a relative Creation of each point of Mind that is born. Either way we are considering a birth of a World. It may not fundamentally matter what level of creation that we are considering, for we may find that all Creation is a repeating pattern of basic creation, like a Holographic Image or a repeating fractal pattern. And, I am suggesting that these four basic thoughts are likely the most fundamental pattern of creation.

The Stillness of the Mind would never create anything without Action. Action is the Pure Male Principle that Arises from the stillness. There are fundamentally Three Actions, one for each Dimension of Existence.

So, it seems well known that existence is a Union between a Fundamental Female Principle and a Fundamental Male Principal. As this Union all existence can become through Mind and Action. This Union is a Mystery where One can be known as Three in Union. Why Three, and not Two (Female / Male) Well the Third is the Union itself. If the Female and Male do not work in cooperation, do not form a bond or a Union, then there is only Duality, not Unity, and Duality is Suffering and Conflict.

The Three Fundamental Actions of existence Create the Three Dimensions and can be explained as such:

  1. Arisal

  2. Turning or Twisting.

  3. Spinning

I think that whatever Fundamental Theory you conceive of, it would be difficult to dispense with these basic Three Actions. Even though my current theories and explanations relate to Classical Euclidean Geometry and The Five Platonic Solids, which are all related to Pythagorean Philosophy, the emerging Philosophies of Theoretical and observational Particle / Quantum Physics, Combinatorics, String Theory, and Know Theory are all interesting explorations, that we may find the ancient cultures also entertained.

It is very interesting to note that since there is always an equal and opposite reaction to every Action then the three Fundamental Actions are actually Three Actions and Three Reactions. As such we have:

  1. Arising / Sinking

  2. Expanding / Contracting

  3. Pushing / Pulling.

As we explore the 3 Actions we can see that a Turning Circle expands from one to two dimensions and its opposite reaction is contraction.

When we have a circle, and it begins to spin as a three dimensional sphere, its equal and opposite reaction has a type of stabilizing and harmonizing effect of finding the center or homeostasis which is here described as a Pushing and a Pulling.

These 3 Action pairs also correspond to 6 basic directions of a three dimensional cube. It is interesting to note that the numbers 4 and 6 equal 10, the number of completion, and geometrically 4 is a square, the symbol of Earth, and 6 is a Star, the symbol of Heaven. Through this explanation we see that 7 basic principles can also be considered to be the same as the number 10, which is also unity.

This is a brief summary of the 7 Fundamental Principles of Creation. I will follow this explanation up with one explanation of how these 7 principles can create all existence.
